PCBC Fuduro Results
Note that some timing came in after the cut off for prize giving that knocked 3rd place >21 Male of the perch. 3rd place is now Michael May (The Turquoise Warrior).
There were a couple of people that had one or two stages missing due to Strava glitches (luckily it is a Funduro). In this instance I have taken your average placing in the other stages and added the time of that placing in that particular stage that was missing so that you get a overall time and placing.
Hope you all had a great time and next time we will have more categories (definitely an over 40) and hopefully we can hook up some bigger and better prizes too.
Big thanks again to our sponsors Hot Cycles, Trail Pro and Deep Creek Brewery. ... See MoreSee LessPohutukawa Coast Bike Club is with Quentin Prinsloo and 3 others.

Programme
Registration - 8am to 8:45am
Race Briefing - 9:15am
Race start - 9:30am
Race Finish - 1:30am
Prize giving - 1:45ish
Parking
There are two options to get to the Hub - drive or bike.
Drive
We are allowing people to drive to the Hub. Parking is on Trig Road between the container and Boundary Run. Parking is on one side of the road only. There will be people directing you where to park. If you plan on parking at the Hub you will need to enter the forest between 8am and 8:30am. The gate will be closed and locked at 8:30am. You also will not be able to leave to after prize giving (no exceptions).
Bike
If you plan on biking to the Hub there are two options where you can park - Rewa Road or Okororo Road. Please keep left as vehicles will be in the forest. Trig Road is vehicles only, you will need to go up the track 'Sneaky Hand Job' to get to the Hub.
There will be shuttles running from Rewa Road also. One will leave at 8am and the second at 8:30am. There is limited space so first in first serve.
Shuttles
Shuttles will be running for the race. You will get 2 shuttle rides only.
Up track
There are two ways to get to the Hub during the race by shuttle or via Sneaky Hand Job. Trig Road is strictly off limits to bikes.
Toilets
There are no toilets in the forest. Public toilets are available at Maraetai Beach.
Health and Safety
Please read our health and safety information for the race. Link is in your confirmation email. A copy will be on site also.
The tracks are currently dry, hard and loose. We highly recommend protective gear - knee pads etc.
Please bring plenty of water. It gets pretty hot in the forest and it has been recently felled so there is minimal shade. There will however be water stations available at the Hub and either by the shuttle pick up or at the entrance of Sneaky Hand Job.
Bees - there are bees in the forest. There are hives close to the tracks. Please be prepared if you are allergic.
Prize Giving
There will be pizza and refreshments at the end of the race thanks to Trail Pro and Deep Creek Brewery. We have some great spot prizes and prizes for place getters from Hot cycles. ... See MoreSee Less-
