Duders, Omana, Hunua & Waitawa & Totara Regional Parks.  We also like exploring urban pathways especially in the winter.  A trip to the café is a must when we are close by!!

Friday:  Weekly Rides organised by Janet & Leah.   Janet takes the Friday rides.  Weekend rides away are planned from time to time.

History

We started with 3 of us riding most Friday mornings as we could no longer keep up with our partners and it has turned into a regular Friday morning event with us averaging around 5-8 riders per week.  In 2011 we joined the boys for shuttles and night rides and in 2012 started riding Monday mornings as well.

2015

Friday rides are being organised by Leah this year as Janet trains for a big event.spokeswomen2

The end of year trip is being planned to Raglan in November.  Contact Leah for details.  leah.fanstone@gmail.com

2014 Highlights

Trip away to Rotorua.  Whilst the weather wasn’t great on the Friday, some of the ladies got in some paddleboarding and kayaking on the blue lake first in the rain before meeting at 1pm to ride in the pouring rain.

Saturday however was a different story with the sun coming out and we boarded the shuttle for a morning of runs.  Great to see so many smiles at the bottom of each track.

End of year trip to Lake Taupo.

2014 End of Year Awards:
Helen – crash award (for not crashing so much last year)
