Under Level 3 the Mareatai block will be open from Wednesday. There are lots of rules. The following tracks are closed Shrapnel, Grenade, B's, Screamers, Prospectors, Bionic, Native Addiction, Stumpy, Ground Effect and Boundary. All others please ride cautiously and well within your capabilities. No KOM's!! PLEASE obey social distancing rules and stay within your bubble. All users must scan in using the QR codes at the entrance. Also we would like all riders to use Strava . The Police are concerned people may get lost/injured and want a way to track people if they dont return. Strava has a facility to send you ride live to another person -use this if possible . If we obey the rules the forest will stay open, if we don't it will close again. ... See MoreSee Less

A few lucky souls managed to get a ride or two down the new Sweet As before the lockdown closure of the forest. Grade 3 flow trail with lots of fun stuff for the pinners. Its going to be a favorite come summer .
