Whitford Block remains closed Please keep out. Remember cameras are operating in both forests!

Forest closed this Sunday 24th May

Unfortunately Maraetai Forest will be closed this Sunday because the forestry crew will be working all weekend to get the final section of forest felled before the rain arrives. They will also be spraying in there too.  Please keep out.

Hopefully the forest should open fully soon.

Memberships Now Open

You can now join up online click here

Due to the disruptions we have had this year with the forest closure and Covid-19, we have decided to keep the membership fees the same. We are also offering three year memberships again to help with building new tracks this winter. Money from other sources will be limited this year due to the current environment so we are relying on memberships to build new tracks so please consider a 3 year membership.  Membership prices will be increasing next year too so a saving in the long run.

MARAETAI OPEN THIS SUNDAY

Maraetai Forest will be open on Sunday.

Ground Effect track and the road between the exit of Ground Effect and Comfortably Numb closed so Comfortably Numb and Stumpy are exit to the Poo Ponds tracks only -no up tracks that end of the forest. It will be interesting to see how much logging remains -we must be getting close to Maraetai being open long term.
